Illinois is a world class destination for film, television and advertising production. The Near South Side has seen its share of productions with many more opportunities available. The Illinois Film Office, a part of the state’s Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, is the department that takes care of production coordination and the economic incentives for film, television and advertising in the area. We invite you to join us for an intriguing program on this lucrative industry. Ms. Dudley will provide the State’s perspective on what it means to Illinois, the rewards and challenges, and to discuss what’s on the horizon.
